Taiwan 台灣, April 3 - 13, 2008

Took an early flight at 1:20a.m. PST from LAX to Taiwan on China Airlines. Arrived around 7:00a.m. April 4, 2008 (with a delay) Went to a bazillion areas, and left Taiwan April 13, 4:50p.m. Taiwan time.

My biggest regret on this trip - not purchasing the wide angle lens I said I would last year after Europe. I thought my lens would be fine, but I should have tried hard to remember how frustrated I was with the lack of wide angle on my camera. Looking at my photos this time around,is disappointing like Europe (and they're not even up!) When traveling and taking photos of architecture and landscapes, a wide angle is needed much more, not a telephoto, though it came in handy when taking photos of flowers and the picture of the butterfly.

Also, I've uploaded * alot * more photos than I normally would because of the sheer # of people on this trip + my fetish for food pictures always adds up. I'm putting the bare minimum however, on facebook.
